Hackesches Hof-Theater Berlin

more informations

The intimate HACKESCHES HOF-THEATER has been known as Berlin's chief venue for both mime and Yiddish cultural performances since 1993.  Located in a historical quarter of Berlin once home to many Eastern European Jews, the Hackesches Hof-Theater is unique in its offering of more than 150 Yiddish music concerts each year, including two Yiddish music festivals.

Many performers feel at home on stage at the Hackesches Hof Theater. A specialty  of the theater is nearly  a dozen productions of Yiddish "Liedtheater," (performances of Yiddish songs). In addition, all Berlin mime troupes stage their premieres at the  Hackesches Hof.   The theater also holds many different types of productions for special events, from festivals organized by commercial firms to gala evenings.

The Hackesches Hof Theater also serves as an "event" theater for special occasions and can be privately  booked.
